Booking / Payment / Cancellation Policy

BOOKING

For all portrait, mini photography/photography, and event sessions; a non-fundable $100 session retainer is required to book and hold the date for your session and serves as a cancellation fee. However, the fee can be credited towards a future session upon the photographer's approval. All remaining balances are due at the time of the session.

For wedding packages; a 50% retainer is due immediately to book and hold the date of your event and also serves as a cancellation fee. The remaining balance is due two (2) weeks before the date of the wedding. You can break this up into multiple payments however you see fit.

PAYMENT

All services can be paid for via cash, check, Zelle, Cash App, Visa or MasterCard. If Client pays by check, the check must clear and any uncleared check will have an additional charge of $50 to cover bank fees. the remainder at this time must be paid.

CANCELLATION POLICY

For all portrait, mini photography/photography, and event sessions; Client forfeits their session retainer paid to book the session. If Client cancels the session 72 hours or less from the booked session, or no-shows for the session, Customer will be required to pay an additional retainer for any future rebooking. If Client cancels with at least 72 hours notice, the fee can be credited towards a future session; Client can reschedule the appointment. In rare occasions, the retainer may be refunded, but this will be at the sole discretion of the photographer.

For weddings and events, if for any reason Client cancels before the wedding date, the Photographer will keep the event retainer fee paid to hold the wedding or event date as a cancellation fee. Cancellation must be made in writing, by mail or e-mail. However, if Client requires to a change for the wedding date, I will do my best to accommodate the change and no fee will be charged as long as the new date is available and within three months of the original event date. If I am not available for the new date, the original contract will be cancelled and subject to the cancellation policy.

If Flashback Visuals Photography cannot perform the session due to fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to Photographer’s illness or emergency, the Photographer shall return the retainer fee to the Client, but shall have no further liability with respect to the Contract. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera, or other media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer.

FAQs

WHAT HAPPENS IF I SHOW UP LATE?

If you are 15 minutes late there will be a $20 charge added to your balance.

If you are 25 minutes late theres is a $40 charge, anything past 25 minutes and your session will be cancelled. Your deposit will be forfeited an another one will need to be paid to reschedule.

CAN I RESCHEDULE MY SHOOT DATE?

Yes, as long as you notify me within 72 hours of your session. Anything less than requires another deposit.

HOW LONG DOES A SESSION LAST?

The time frame of a session can last anywhere from 60 minutes to 7 hours. Time frames are dependent on how much time a customer wants.

DOES THE DEPOSIT GO TOWARDS MY FINAL PRICE?

Yes, your $100 deposit is deducted from your final price.

For example: If your session total is $400 your balance would be $300 AFTER the deposit is paid.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING TO MY SESSION?

I encourage you to bring whatever special items you want photographed. Props are welcomed.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY PHOTOS TO COME BACK?

All digital edited images will be sent via online gallery within 2 weeks of your picked selection. If you would like a rushed order there will be an additional charge.

CAN I PRINT IMAGES ON MY OWN?

After you receive your images via online gallery you can download and print as many as you would like. I do NOT recommend a commercial printer ex. Walmart/Walgreens the quality is not the best for professional photos. I will be glad to give you recommendations on where to go.

WHAT SHOULD I/WE WEAR?

You should wear whatever represents you the best, that could be casual or dressed up. I recommend staying away from clothing with text, characters or images as it can be distracting. For a group photo try to coordinate your clothes with the colors, but not necessarily exactly match.

For a maternity session I personally recommend something the shows off the baby bump.

WHEN DO I HAVE TO PAY AND WITH WHAT FORM?

Full payment for your session is due before the beginning of the shoot.

That can be paid either cash, or PayPal, Stripe, Zelle or Cash App.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND ALONG?

Yes, as long as they don't interfere in a bad way with your session.

CAN YOU HELP ME FIND A MAKEUP ARTIST?

Of course! I have a list of great MUA's that I recommend my clients to.

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I RECEIVE?

The amount of photos you will receive is already stated in your package.

If you would like additional files they can be purchased for a additional cost.

CAN I HAVE MY UNEDITED IMAGES?

No, I'm sorry I DO NOT give out Raw/unedited images. Unedited images can be viewed but will have a logo overtop.

You can however pay to have any additional images edited.

WHAT IF I NEED MY EDITS RUSHED?

If you need your pictures before my two week turn around you can pay a rush fee.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO AFTER MY SESSION?

NOTHING. Your work is already done, just wait for me to send you your proofs files.

If your are receiving prints instructions for when they are ready for pick up will be given to you.

DO STANDARD SESSIONS INCLUDE SET BUILDS?

No. Standard sessions are typically plain backdrops. I do use props that I already have but anything custom would need to be discussed before booking.

HOW MUCH ARE SET BUILDS?

Mini Sets start at $75 and full sets at $200. There is no set price, every set is different.
